Day 3
I have come to the conclusion that this bike ride / event call it what you will is just like life. Its better not knowing what is around the corner,you just get on with it.
Thanks to lesley and Mark for last nigt and sorry again for leaving a messy towel. A hugh thank you to Tim at the bike shop for fixing my bike which allowed us to be on the road at 0945. A really hugh thank you to the two ladies in the sandwich shop in Crediton who suggested a less hilly route although it was 5 miles longer. You were spot on and we actually enjoyed it. Total distance today was 82 miles and we are over nighting in Street in a Yourh Hostel. Feel that we are here under false pretencies. In a 7 man room and had to make our own beds. Sharing with one other person besides Alan so perhaps when the lights go out I spy will be a bit more interesting. Weather good today and not to hot and we have left the hills behind for a short while at least. Bob and Liz caught us up on their Norton motorbikes, thanks for stopping and have a good rally this weekend. Marks out of 10 for today - 7. I'm putting a video together for the trip. Any suggestions for the music?
